چکیده
The scale precipitation is a major issue at geothermal power plants as it reduces the production rate of energy. precipitates different physical and chemical conditions in each plant result from fluid–rock interaction for specific plant. Thus, important to understand characteristics process fluid. information on transportation metals its hydrothermal fluid general will be useful formation ore deposit. In this study, we have examined silica scaling Onuma Akita Prefecture, Japan. consists mainly amorphous trace amounts smectite, kaolinite, euhedral pyrite. Chemical composition indicates that Fe content shows positive correlation with Pb, Cu, REE. These elements probably incorporate into pyrite scale. texture suggests possible crystalize prior growth silica. Silica gradually changes well toward reinjection well. Concentrations SiO2, Fe2O3, MgO, MnO significantly decrease well, those Al2O3, LOI, alkali earth (Na2O, K2O, CaO) increase Most including REE also furthermore HREE decreases more extensively than LREE though (Be, Rb, Sr, Cs, Ba) change element concentration scales can utilized pipes

15 صفحه اولApplication of Geochemical Methods in Geothermal Exploration
Subsurface waters have been classified into meteoric water, ocean water, evolved connate water, magmatic water and juvenile water. Geothermal water is mostly meteoric and oceanic water although andesitic waters near subduction areas often contain significant proportions of evolved connate and magmatic waters. Geothermal waters have been classified with respect to their anion and cation contents...
متن کاملGeochemical Techniques in Geothermal Development: an Update
The ultimate goal of geochemical studies of geothermal systems is to understand the physical-chemical processes responsible for their origin and evolution. The chemical composition of fluids (separated vapor and water), collected from fumaroles, hot springs and drilled wells at the Earth’s surface (25oC) is determined in the laboratory. Using the chemical geothermometers, conservation of mass, ...
متن کاملGeochemical Evaluation of Geopressued Geothermal Wellbore Cement
Geopressured reservoirs can serve as ample source of geothermal energy with temperatures as high as 140 0C. Salinities are typically high in these reservoirs due to the dissolution of surrounding salt domes. Cement retrogression can occur under these geopressured geothermal conditions resulting from calcium silicate hydrate [3CaO2SiO23H2O] phase in hydrated cement converting to alpha dicalciu...
متن کاملMW Geothermal Power Plant Multiple Simulator , Using Wireless Technology
A geothermal power plant multiple simulator for operators training is presented. The simulator is designed to be installed in a wireless local area network and has a capacity to train one to six operators simultaneously, each one with an independent simulation session. The sessions must be supervised only by one instructor. The main parts of this multiple simulator are: instructor and operator’...
